Title: Field Event Specialist
Summary: This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager and is responsible for implement regional customer events and programs to helps drive Leads conversion and consumables sales increase.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work with Field Sales and Trade marketing to coordinate the event planning and execution process with a variety of internal and external partners.
- Collaborating closely with sales team to co-ordinate a schedule of events to support their tactical plans
- Collaborate with HQ marketing team to find efficiencies, implement best practices and support all event projects as assigned. Including Instore events, Conference & Seminars, Trade Show, Dinner and Receptions, visit, etc.
- Responsible for measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of events, including leads and other metrics
- Gather information (including industry trends, competitive intelligence and business goals) and make event marketing recommendations, incorporating program budget, potential effectiveness, event metrics, logistics, calendaring, etc.
- Manage and execute all logistical details, including POSM, premium, food/beverage, transportation, and other tradeshow or event services as required. Manage 3rd party vendors where required.
- Monthly bases review and communicate customer needs, competitor intel, industry trends, market and sales opportunities to HQ teams
Education, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- 3 + years of working experience preferably in events, account management, sales
- Effective communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal, and the demonstrated ability to work with colleagues and cross functional teams.
- Possess a sense of urgency, problem solving skill and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and is proactive with works
- Ability to develop and maintain solid relationships and working knowledge of provider
- Excellent time management, project management, and organization skills
