Marketer / Business Development Executive [Nigeria]


 

Position Overview

This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining external company relationships.

Researches and develops various marketing strategies for products and services. Implements marketing plans and works to meet sales quotas. Tracks marketing and sales data and identifies areas of improvement.

This position requires someone with a strong desire to work in a start-up environment and possess a strong desire to play a critical role in the success of the organization.

Essential Job Functions

  • Contributes information, ideas, and research to help develop marketing strategies
  • Assist in the development of sales and marketing literature, and other supporting information for existing and prospective clients.
  • Helps to detail, design, and implement marketing plans for each product or service being offered
  • Sets marketing schedules and coordinates with colleagues, sponsors, media representatives, and other professionals to implement strategies across multiple channels
  • Engage in direct sales activities, including but not limited to office visits, conference exhibitions, dinner meetings, etc.
  • Develops sales strategies and approaches for various products and services, such as special promotions, sponsored events, etc.
  • Answers questions from clients about product and service benefits
  • Maintains excellent relationships with clients through superior customer service
  • Tracks sales data and works to meet quotas or sales team goals
  • Analyses trends, data, demographics, pricing strategies, and other information that can potentially improve marketing and sales performance
  • Creates and presents regular performance reports for managers and executives
  • Implements and adheres to company policies and procedures
  • Attends trade shows and travels to meet clients as needed
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • HND/B.Sc in Business Administration, Marketing, Biological Science or related field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years’ sales experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong Communication skills and attention to details (Thoroughness).
  • Strong organization skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Background in medical or biological sciences preferred
  • Relevant Certifications in Marketing, Safety, Health Regulations or any related field will be an added advantage.

Other Skills/Abilities

  • Able to interact effectively with patients who range from healthy to critically ill; compassionate.
  • The candidate must be flexible, self-motivated, and results oriented, with the ability to think strategically as well as execute tactically.
  • Realistic – able to deal with practical, hands-on problems and solutions.
  • Good Documentation and analyzing skills
  • Good knowledge of Health Regulations, Creating and maintaining a Safe & Effective Environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: ₦60,000.00 - ₦150,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Uyo: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Sales and Marketing: 2 years (Required)
