Senior Electronics Engineer [China]


 This is what we need you to do The Senior Electronics Engineer is part of the SEA Electronics EC & Wearable Hardware Team and based in China. He/she will be reporting to managers in Singapore/Malaysia and working with engineers from the team on multiple R&D projects to support local technical issues in current manufacturing and JDM/ODM development activities. The main responsibilities should include following: Actively involved in the full cycle of Design, Develop and manufacturing of the new EC & Wearable products together with the SEA team based in Singapore and Malaysia Ensure design solution meets product functional/robustness requirements (performance, reliability, DFM, cost and serviceability, compliance with international regulatory standards e.g. IEC, UL and EMC) Actively support prototyping activities locally in new project development and ensure a smooth project progressing Work closely with manufacturing and operation team to support local manufacturer on product design related technical issues during engineering builds to ensure smooth production ramp up Drive suppliers and contract manufacturers production process to meets Dyson requirements. Work closely and support the local market quality team on 1st level technical support for post-production market failure analysis Provide technical coaching and design guidance to engineers Involve in electronics development process improvement activities This is what we need you to have Bachelors degree in (Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication) or equivalent. Minimum 3- 5 years experience in design and development of Electronics Hardware circuits and system Basic design knowledge and experience in SMPS power supply, BLDC motor drive, embedded Micro Controller, Working Knowledge of Schematic capture, PCB layout software such as Mentor Graphics Experience using simulation tools to support design calculations, tolerance analysis and documentation Full PDLC management experience/track record Experience is Design QA, DFM, DFX, DFMEA is essential Capable to deliver high quality results within tight time deadlines. Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and effectively as a team. Highly motivated person with good communication skills and able to work within a team Independent, Integrity and self driven with a strong focus on results Possess a strong command of written and spoken English Excellent communication skills verbally and in writing to executive level and regular engineers In your first year you will Be challenged to solve complex problems in novel ways Work with cross-functional teams to develop and integrate creative solution into Dyson products Work with product owners to capture requirements and select appropriate sensing and actuating technologies Take designs through Dyson design process, present and participate in design review Motivate and mentor graduate and regular engineers on your team In order to increase your chances of being short listed please ensure you submit a supporting statement in addition to your CV clearly addressing how you meet the criteria as outlined above, plus details of your current and required package.
